"One thing I haven't mentioned" project

I love going to diners and Lancers is one of my favorites. Its very close to my house, they have yummy food, and the waitresses are always interesting. My friends go often especially late at night and its always fun.

I edited the photos at the top and bottom then in illustrator made the whole image into an L for Lancers.

I chose to do this project about my favorite band, Closure in Moscow.

My First Memory

My first memory is from when I lived in Middleburgh, New York. I was about 3-4 years old and I was outside of my house playing with my 2 dogs. One was a sheepdog mix and the other was a poodle mix. While playing the poodle (whose name I don't remember) accidentally scratched my face under my right eye. I started bleeding and my mom made me go inside to clean me up and I started crying because I wanted to stay out and play in the show. To this day I still have a light scar under my eye.

Over the summer I got a new bike. It's a schwinn cream and I really love going for bike rides.

I live in Horsham, Pa. I used the image of the mall because theres always people there and my friends and I go there somewhat often. Horsham has a few township parks so i used an image from one of them. The Willow Grove Naval base is in horsham and i found an old picture of it that i thought was really cool looking. I used the image of the diner sign because Lancers is pretty popular in Horsham. The football helmets is from the upper moreland high school vs. Hatboro Horsham high school thanksgiving football game, theres a huge rivalry between Upper Moreland and Hatboro Horsham and the thanksgiving game is a big deal. The picture of the lake is from a reservoir that my friends and I go to when its nice out. I used the wawa logo because there are about 4 wawas in close distance of where I live.

To achieve my results first I cropped the image of the women so it was just her figure. Then I added a blur filter on the image I used for the background so when I added the two images together the women would look more in the foreground. Lastly I added the image of the women to the image I used as the background and saved.
I chose the background image because it was a hand drawing by an eighth grade student and I chose the foreground image because I like the pin up look of the women.
